Las Naves
In order to obtain Bolívar-Las Naves chocolate, with 82% cacao content, Ecuatoriana de Chocolates, has got its raw material from orchards where the “golden beans” are grown mixed with grapefruit , mandarin and orange trees, all of these are typical citric fruits cultivated in Bolívar province in the Ecuadorian Sierra.

The province has a varied climate ranging from the moor cold to hot in subtropical zones with temperatures ranging between 22º and 25º C.

The province of Bolívar is located in the center of the country, in the Interandean region or the Sierra, on the slopes of the western mountainous range of the Andes between littoral and inter Andean region, to the South of Ecuador.
Its surface is irregular and mountainous, with picks reaching 4.500 m over sea level. It occupies most of the Chimbo pit, for which reason it enjoys varied climate, from moor cold to the tropical hot.
Bolivar province is dominated by the majestic peak Chimborazo surrounded by other high peaks not over 3.000 m.s.l.
