Puerto Quito
In order to meet necessities from the most demanding palates a chocolate bar has been produced, known as Pichincha-Puerto Quito, it contains 91% of cocoa.
This cocoa comes from Puerto Quito canton and village, located 90 kilometers northwest of Quito, a natural context of the heat and humid weather and bathed with natural sources of water and great cascades, where plants grow in a sustainable and protected environment.

Pichincha province is located in the central region or the Sierra, in the north of the Ecuadorian territory. Such geographic location grants the following characteristics: It is crossed by the Equator line, it’s considered Andean because it is located between two mountainous ranges called Andes, in the pit formed by Guayllabamba river; it is also volcanic because it is located on the mountainous structure of Pichincha volcano.

Pichincha is provide with the most varied agrarian production, represented by cultivations of potato, barley, broad bean and pastures; in the high zone, wheat, corn, legumes, fruits in the valleys and low slopes. On the western area coffee, rice, cacao, yucca, bananas, African palm and tropical fruits.
